Amazing lack of knowledge about the Domain Industry... This type of comment is EXACTLY why domainers make LEGITIMATE money buying domains and reselling them. LEGITIMATE domainers, mainly about 95% of the community of domain investors, buy and sell, develop, or park domain names just like YOU do for you own domain name. We just learned that a domain investment is a consistently growing value. A "cybersquatter" is someone who BUYS A DOMAIN OF A TRADEMARKED OWNER AND TRIES TO SELL THE DOMAIN TO THAT TM HOLDER". Period. It's illegal. I don't do it, and the majority of domain investors do not do it. Do you think the owner of "COINS.COM", if they didn't build out the website, are "cybersquatters"? It's their choice to place adlinks on their website, because thousands of people land on their page and click those LEGITIMATE LINKS. The ignorance of the domain industry based on the comments here are astounding to me. I had no idea that the average internet commerce investor, as in the coin collecting community, looked at domain investors as some sort of "criminal". I pay over $25,000 a year to renew all my domains. Some I build out, some I park at Parking Services, all of whom use Google or Yahoo ad feeds, LEGALLY AND WITH THOSE FEEDS ENDORSEMENT, to place links on their sites. Don't lump in a few bad apples in the domain community with the whole group of us. We're legit, just like the coin collecting community. Do you guys have frauds in your industry? Of course, but that doesn't paint the whole group as crooks, does it? I buy only generic descriptive domains. They infringe on nobody's TM. If someone wants my domains, they have to pay the VALUE of that domain, whether it's $50 or $500,000. It depends on how that domain will appreciate while helping the owner dominate their competitors online. It's online real estate, just like that rich plot of land on the hill in your neighborhood. You can call the land brokers "crooks" for snatching up that land you wanted, but you'd just be a sour grapes loser if you did. Same thing applies regarding domain name investing. Learn a bit about it first, before making false statements based on ignorance and prejudice. Try "elliotsblog.com", or "dnjournal.com", or "domainnamewire.com" to learn more about domain investing. Guaranteed you can legally and ETHICALLY make more money on your investment faster than you can buying coins. Coin collecting is fun, and can be valuable. Domain buying is fun, and is valuable if you know what you're doing. thanks for listening... Kiss
