Recently I have been put in charge of creating a website for our coin club. Our coin club is called: Western Illinois Coin Club. So I have decided on the following domain names: www.wicoinclub.com www.wilcoinclub.com www.westillinoiscoinclub.com www.westernilcoinclub.com www.westerillinoiscoinclub.com Which do you think would be the best and why?
I thought so as well. www.westernillinoiscoinclub.com is a mouthful. I think www.wilcoinclub.com sounds good, what about you?

Overall it’s okay, but your wording could have been better/more professional. After all, you are representing the organization and first impressions matter greatly. You also may want to find out when the club was started as the "(?)" reflects poorly upon the site. Nice start though.
The club has existed since the 1980s, then it fell apart again in the 90s, and started back up here about 3-4 years ago. No one really knows for sure when it started.
Forgive the nitpicking but ... in German that thing with the dates is a Kalender. Took me a while to learn that in English you spell it with "ar" at the end. Now, however, I know it. http://www.westernilcoinclub.com/calender-of-events.html Christian
Well, I would then suggest that you either remove any mention of the club's founding, or at least generalize if you feel this a necessary addition to the site. Also, and as I mentioned in my previous post, wording and particularly spelling errors are very unprofessional and can be a great turn off to site visitors. *I see that you have updated the founding information; my apologies.
http://www.westernilcoinclub.com/auction.html You charge a 5% commission on auctions held at your meetings. Is this charge payable by the seller or buyer. Important info, don't ya think?
