    Ditto.
The charge shows up on the site as if you're going to be charged as you're checking out. But it does not get applied to the order. Must be some sort of limitation on the site.
However, note that if you add anything to the order that is not DirectShip, then you most certainly will be charged for delivery.

I got my 2010 Native American dollars today. No shipping costs. I must say, I REALLY like this coin. This is much better than last year's reverse!!!!!!

    It it really attractive!

Completely agree. The reverse designs shows very well on the gold-colored coin.
I got a bunch of rolls and don't even want to spend them yet.

yeah, I agree that the 2010 reverse for the Native American dollar is very nice. I use these for tips, coffee, and small purchases. I inspect each roll as I open it for errors and high grade (MS67) pieces. So far, in 2 rolls, nothing to send in to PCGS yet. Most pieces grade 64-66. Beautiful luster and strike.

How would one (read that "a novice") know if it is MS67 or higher? I just don't know squat about the differences in grading 60-70....

What can be done with them? no one wants them and they will not be worth anything![IMG]

You can put one in your album and spend the rest.

    Bobeth87,

You know, grading uncirculated coins just takes experience. I'm not sure if I can really pick out the 67's, but I can certainly tell the difference between a 62 and a 65, for example. And you could too, if you just practiced at it.

I collect many certified Morgan dollars and I look carefully at how the grading services has determined the grades vs. the marks on the coin. You just got to look at a bunch.

In terms of the Native American dollars, I have a certified set of business strikes in MS67 graded by PCGS. So I'm just comparing what I see vs. some of the coins in PCGS holders that I already have, that's all.

Think it's a good idea to get a box of each new presidential coin and the Native American ones? Just in case there are any error coins etc, can always just spend them, gets them into circulation which is great.

I just ordered 4 boxes with no freight charges.

I don't know where that feller came up with being charged for shipping unless he ordered some other product along with the Direct Ship Dollars. Then they'll charge ya.

Ordered a box yesterday! I'll look through them, keep a few good looking ones, any errors of course and just spend them whenever I can.

Exactly. You'd do with them the same thing you'd do with other cash -- after all, it's just . . . cash.

Specifically, as you suggest: spend them, gifts, etc.
