She&#039;d set certain ones aside, the replace them from her purse. When I wondered why she did that, she showed me her not-unimpressive collection of circulated (yet uncataloged) coins. But, the hook wasn&#039;t fully set until she showed me an 1862 3-cent piece someone had used instead of a dime. She then gave me that 3-center and I&#039;ve never looked back.
