addition to my previous post now that I've read the rest of the thread... Any time that there is insurance (through the USPS) then I am required to sign a little salmon colored sheet when I take receipt of the package. That is different from Delivery confirmation (which is required by Paypal for the seller to be protected by Paypal). Delivery Confirmation merely means that the postman scans the DC barcode before he places the package into your mail receptacle. Now, did he charge you a fee for insurance Rueben? If so, I think you have a legitimate gripe, but if not, then that means he is paying for additional services (that protect him) out of his own pocket. I don't see how you have any right to complain about that. This is one of the reasons that I absolutely DREAD dealing with newbies on eBay. When I see that one (or more) of my auctions has/have been won by someone with a short eBay track-record I cringe because I know that the liklihood of a problem is exponentially increased. I apologize if that is an unfair representation of you Rueben, but it has been true in my experience. (I am a PowerSeller with 100% positive feedback over 8000+ transactions, including 7500+ that received feedback from 920 unique users).
