Tough break Gd. You sounded so excited in the beginning of the post. If it is slabbed you could check the number with PCGS for authenticity. (or theft)

Thats what I was hoping to do. I asked him for the cert number. Guess he doesn't want to sell it that bad!

If you play your cards right and keep looking, I'm willing to bet you can find a very nice B.U. for the same or less! It's like women, there is always another till you find the right one :)

Craigslist is not a terrible place to buy coins at imo but if you go look at it, meet somewhere safe and weigh the coin, ask alot of questions too. Crooks are known to utilize craigs as a good place to sell stolen stuff. Besides, at my coin club there was a new member who bought a fake that was slabbed, ouch!! :D I don't know anything about that series or coin, just giving you a heads up. :thumb:

The icon in the lower right corner indicates that likely the photo came from ebay. Likely the seller does not have the coin. It is an awful awful idea to buy coins on Craigslist. You could be robbed, sold a fake coin like the many here

or be sold a stolen coin, which you lose with no reimburement if it's discovered.
