Does this look like Platinum?

    It looks like platinum , but I hope you bought it from a reliable place , a lot of these small ingots turn out to be ripoffs , hope I'm wrong in this case . Could I ask where you bought it ?

    Is Platinum supposed to have the same color as silver? It looks like darker silver.. I always thought Platinum was bright and shiny..

    Platinum is very similar to silver in color, I believe it is slightly more gray. The bar would only be shiny if it was polished, or struck from a polished press, that one wasn't. I would say the first thing to do is look into the Istanbul Market, and see if they're legit.
