    Hi cplradar,
Personally, It looks to be 'over-somethinged', but just cannot pigeon-hole what.

My opinion is the coin has been dipped to remove most of the tarnish. You can see the remnants the dip did not remove the dark spots here and there. That bluish/pink tint is either light source or artificial toning, IMO.

Just cruised through some of his coins and spied a 1929 SLQ with same coloring.
Also saw other questionable items which makes me :nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting:

Sucks because the coin is very well struck. Was probably sitting in dip for a while.

Looks dipped. These are not hard to obtain. Find a better one, with luster.

Doesn't matter if its cleaned or dipped not certified probably for that reason red flag #1.I wouldn't buy a coin like this raw and also its not truly a FH unless its certified. There are plenty of raw mercs that are FB but don't get it when there slabbed.

Well, that and if it was to grade as a FH, it would be nearly and MS66 and more than $280, IMO.
