Does this dealer have a killer collection of toners? or are these artificially toned?

    Producing coins with "market acceptable" toning by using gas, with both raw and slabbed coins, has been going on for at least 20 years that I know of, and possibly longer.

    That said, can the same method produce coins that are not market acceptable ? Sure can, especially when it's done by people who don't know what they are doing and get the gas mixtures wrong.

    But get the gas mixtures right, and the coins are completely indistinguishable from naturally toned coins and 100% market acceptable ;)
