I missed this the first time around, but it looks like justice was served. To @-jeffB's comment about eye appeal, I'd say this piece has good eye appeal. I'm not a fan of the darker toning near TRUST and the date on the obverse and the general darkness in the fields on the reverse, but I'm guessing the coin makes a better impression in hand. I'd have to see it in hand, but this looks like a coin I'd have in my collection if I were doing a set of VF Barber halves.
It's tricky with these halves. I got one that is a Vf 30 to xf. It has the same amount of luster, which is very little. The fields look lightly cleaned in the past, as this one does. I tried to sell it at a show and was offered 20. He told me it was just worth melt because it's cleaned. Anyways, I'll take a pic for you soon
How did I miss this one. I agree with the assigned grade. And, the 'scratches' are (I feel) just circulation marks.
