Does this 1900-s Barber Half Dollar look cleaned

    Yes, cleaned harshly and dipped. Can see the hairlines from the mechanical cleaning, and the dead luster from over-dipping.

    Whoever cleaned that coin should never be allowed to touch another coin again.

    Welcome,you came to the right place to get an education this group's very helpful and accurate.Buy only "slabbed"coins from TPG's when starting out to be safe and read up on us coins by getting a "Red Book of U.S. Coins"- a great reference book. Good luck!
