Does tape and sticker on coins do damage to them in the long run?

    The coins I bought were a 2 cent piece, a large cent and few IHC. They were all pretty cheap especially after I told them that the stickers essentially damaged the coins.

    Yes it causes ugly spots and toning that looks horrible. Try to avoid coins with stickers. They could ruin a nice coin

    I'd think that a thrift shop that puts price stickers right on the coin would be a place to keep an eye on - if you know what I mean...

    Don't you guys watch Storage Wars... Thrift shops find all sorts of rare coins and artifacts in storage lockers...... HAHA!
