All he had to do was set an auto accept or refusal on best offers. But usually when you see an item thats severely overpriced, don't even bother with an offer. Most of those sellers are either trying to prey on the un-knowledgable buyers or are just plain greedy.
Well, if he doesn't want half price offers, he shouldn't list his coins at double catalog value. Just sayin'... I think I'll put a couple of lowball bids in on some of his Canadian stuff and see what happens...
I agree - no reason to even waste my time on some of those auctions. Even if they have something I want.
From the seller's description: ***PAYMENT***1. We do not accept PayPal That in and of itself, is the biggest of red flags to me, and definitely a seller to avoid. I never, EVER, purchase ANYTHING from eBay unless I can use my PayPal account.
I once was kinda rude to someone to selling my guitar. I had a guitar with some accesories. The wholme package was wort about $300 i was asking $200. One day i got an offer of someone and he offered $50. I replied to him that i could not take that offer because it was to low, but i would be willing to think about a new offer made by him. His reply : oke, i offer $51... He was actually wasting my time and i allready had a bad day, so i replied him that he could come over and we could both enjoy the warmth of the guitar while it burns in the fireplace. Never heard of him again. But the reply from the person from that coin is indeed not a very nice way to do bussines
It's not a violation of eBay's rules, but the entire idea of PayPal is to prevent misuse of your credit card and/or bank account information. No one should ever bypass using PayPal.
