Does cleaning harm value of Romans?

    Heh, good luck on cleaning yer' ancients. (Patients my friend!)

    I pulled out my 30-ish uncleaned ancients yesterday... (bad idea) they're just pieces of metal covered in dirt. :D

    I have several coins I purchased as part of uncleaned lots. Most are culls and the few I can identify are not worth the initial costs nor my time and effort.
