Hello Everyone,

I haven't posted here in quite a while and I thought I'd come back and get some good reading and catch up on what is going on in the coin world. I have bought silver and gold coins on ebay, and occasionally scrap gold if the price is right. I get promos every now and then for 4x ebay bucks and such. Sometimes it depends on the category. The good thing is that the listing itself will tell you now. Before it was a guessing game. I have done well milking the promos, but wanted feedback. A perfect example. I got a $50.00 Bullion Coupon that was good 8/21 - 8/22. I had to spend $500.00. So I tried the auctions and that got boring. Sometimes I see auctions bring more then BIN prices. So I check rolls. The best rolls out there on BIN were 20 eagles for $500. My net price was $450 shipped. $22.50 a coin. Not really a bargain. Then I got the genius (or not) ideal to look at Maple leafs. They come in rolls of 25. The price was $581.95 with free shipping. Well I pulled the trigger, and got my $50.00 off. My net price after discount was $531.95 Shipped or $21.27 per silver maple leaf. Well I looked around and I cant find them anywhere for that price. Basically about $1.87 over spot per ounce. ($19.40) spot as I write this. Some people get better offers, some not as nice. So it depends.

Thank you for listening and for your feedback.

Regards,

Joe
