I had the 2021W ASE T1 on my enrollment, which I didn't have to do anything. It just showed up. (I did get some emails about it, tho.) Before I got it, I asked whoever it was on line if the new ASE would be honored with my enrollment. I was told that it would not and that I would have to buy it on line. So if you want to buy it, you will have to be "Johnny on the spot." when it is available. I probably will have to buy it from a dealer (scalper). I have the ASE-S on my enrollment as well as the Uncirculated ASE. I doubt they will honor those.

There are 2 issues that the Mint has now with their "new" administration. They want to keep the Proof ASEs production low so that they can keep the price high. I have an email from them somewhere telling me that they have been given "orders" to make money to pay the costs associated with the sale of Mint products. The price is going up because the price they have to pay for precious metals has been going up (and down, and up an down). Your have to have a crystal ball to keep up with the price of precious metals.

Also, they won't admit it, but the bulk of the money they earn is from the dealers and they don't want to compete with them. This past month, I have seen on HSN, Rick and other dealers selling the Proof ASE T1 that has been graded Proof 70 Ultra Cameo for over $600. The sell the bullion ASEs with a price from $150 to $300. They have been graded and the sell them as MS69-MS70. Some go higher.

My advice, take your time to buy the new ASEs. It may be a year or two, but the prices will go down sometime next year when the new ASE T2s are being sold. They will need to get rid of the "old stock". Best of luck to ya'll.
