    Hey everyone,

I was hoping someone out there might recognize this ancient coin. I only dabble in ancients and can't really make out any details to look it up. It weighs about .31oz/8.7g and the diameter is about .63in/1.6cm. Any help would be appreciated!

The obverse sort of reminds me of some Byzantine types with two facing busts, but I can't make anything sensible out of that reverse. Maybe a local imitation of Byzantine?

From the fabric, my guess would be one of the Indian regions that used this chunky style flan.

I can see the similarities to both of those, but I'm leaning towards India because of the parallel lines on the reverse and that "C" shape in the upper right. I wish there was a little more detail so that I could compare to other pictures. If anyone has any other ideas or a specific ID, feel free to reply!
