I searched the internet with no result on this coin... any ideas? http://www.ebay.com/itm/THORVNIA-16...869148?hash=item3ad56e271c:g:LKcAAOSwmfhX3vpH
Based on my own quick searching and nothing more, it appears it could be a restrike like this, of this type, or a similar piece along the same theme?
I will add that it is very cool looking and has neat "antique" toning, but I am highly suspicious of it having any real age. Look closely at the seller's feedback, for one thing. He or she has been dinged for several fake coins, with twelve negatives in the past year alone. That right there would give me pause. If I were going to bid on it, I'd give it a whirl as if it were a novelty item, for ten or fifteen bucks, maybe, and nothing more. That's just where I sit on the matter. I stand to be corrected. It certainly is eyecatching, especially at the present bid level.
Oh- also, zooming in on the images, it looks cast. Note also that little "HH" in the lower obverse field. What is that? The person who did the restrikes? Note that the restrike I linked to above has the "HH". The original in the other link does not. It's fake.
