for bidding on coins sold on eBay? Here's mine for Morgans...if it is a graded/slabbed coin, I take Redbook x .85% or X .875 if it is a nice strike.

I always check the SOLD prices on eBay, as well as prices obtained at the Heritage Auctions website to get an idea of how prices are trending for a particular Morgan that I'm interested in obtaining.

Heritage's Auction Archive is your friend for coins $200 and over.

  5. I use the one below but like your formula better. :D. TC

I like Heritage Auction archives for pricing. Taking 80-85% of Red Book isn't a bad rule of thumb either.

You will uncover the secret formula when you can draw a square with an X inside without lifting the pencil from the paper and without retracing any existing line.

My code is top secret. However, if you happen to be one of the 100 wealthiest people on earth, I may consider selling it.

Still, I'm afraid I don't know the secret formula.

For guide-line I use the grey sheet.
