The scratches are on the airtite not on the coin itself. The coin is perfect.
I've had virtually a complete set (1933 - date) in the past but my only interest now days in on the circulating decimals, some NCLT, and the older silver (especially 1S). I like the mint sets and think they are undervalued.

Here's a junk bin penny someone plated for some reason.
I never really bothered to take pictures. But here's the key date for the predecimal years. It's one of very few slabbed coins I own.

Living in Australia I regularly get the old decimals in coins rolls too.
which are the key dates? The 1941 Pennny seems key, but I am not sure why? there is a decent enough mintage.
