I don't understand why guns keep coming up in coin threads. I was USMC and I have 3 long guns and 5 small ones but I'm never so scared that I need to carry one. However the main point I meant to make is I want to hear about numismatics and really don't care about anyone's weapons.
i find your lack of humor depressing. do you not see the double meaning? did i not include a numismatic reference? nice self-hyping though with the USMC and MULTIPLE gun ownership mention....fail oh, and as a USMC member, i sadly redirect you to the 2nd amendment, it has nothing with being scared, it has to do with enjoying my rights
+1. I respect people's right to own a firearm, heck I encourage it. There are plenty other forums specifically designed to talk about your guns...but this one is to talk about coins and numismatics. As for my pocket piece, here it is. A worn SL quarter that I am determined to make a P01!
No lack of humor and not "self promoting", just wanted to be clear that I'm not against guns in any way. Maybe it's your first weapon post (or joke) but there have been plenty of others that then chime in for multiple posts. I didn't say anything negative about you, just the topic. That's all.
Here's two coins that I carried at various times as pocket pieces. I'm not carrying one these days though. Both are cull Seated Liberty coins stamped with my personal stamps. Bruce
Neither did I at your age . All I had was a growing wheatie collection and a few silver dollars my grand parents and parents gave me . Once you finish school and settle down I'm sure you'll have many coins you never dreampt you'd have . Just stay in school and get good grades , that's your job now . later it's all gravy . I just swithced my Bust half for a Trade dollar though kept in an IS 2X2 . So I'm not sure that qaulifies as a true pocket piece .
