Yes! It doesn't exist coming from the US Mint. However, it does exist coming from someone's toolbox.

However it was done it was done on the machine the queen is to uniform both sides exactly the same looks a lot like a Canadian coin

 

My microscope doesn't allow full picture on it unfortunately but yeah it's uniform on both sides

 

Somebody did a number on that one in a workshop.

Just damaged. There are an endless number of ways a coin can be damaged, but no way in the minting process for that to have happened.

 

Well I'm assuming this will be one of those mysteries in life where nothing makes sense and doesn't matter it's just a penny back into circulation it goes
