Do You Think This Jefferson Was Cleaned

    I wasn't interested in buying it at all. I was curious because the coin was stated as BU but there was no 'steps' detail on the reverse. Someone pointed out in this thread that this is not uncommon.

    many Unc Jeffersons show no step detail at all. It's sometimes referred to as "the porch"

    The only reason that myth exists is because of Doug's insistence that the only process worthy of the term "die polishing" is when the die is subjected to a large spinning zinc plate with diamond paste.
