I agree with the posts saying to judge the coins by the pictures and what you think rather than the dealer or NGC grade. My favorite descriptions are the ones that read like: Reverse lightly struck with scratches. Graffito on observe, legend illegible. Wavey flan with cracks and corrosion. Clipped. Harshly cleaned. Otherwise extremely fine.
I like the coins that are graded as EF. Then you get the coin delivered by mailman/ open the letter/ note that your coin looks FDC. This happened when I got that "Unique" Merovingian AV Triens today. Its way nicer then photo from Heritage.
