Personally, I'd just try to copy it with an uncollectible note. LOL I wouldn't want to pay extra just for the artists name and then find out it was a rare, star note, now all crumpled up. LOL
That is really neat. This is one I've been carrying in my wallet for over 20 years, I had seen a lot of the shirt ones, but never one with a tie:
I was sitting at my local American Legion back in the 95 time range and a couple on vacation from California stopped in. The gal had a origami book in her purse and started working on that shirt and tie. It took her a little over an hour to complete it. I asked her what she wanted for it and she said a dollar. I gave her the dollar and bought her and her husband a drink on me. Heck, I would have paid her ten dollar for it.
Answering your original question: NO. To increase the face value would require some sort of "hanky panky" which would most likely be illegal.
