I hope you played the lottery this week. About eight months ago I sent this one off to John. When I received it back with my other coins, he politely told me he does not do foreign coins but he definitely said it was a DD. Still again real nice find on your part. USMC60
Yea i saw it said that in the wexler site when i found my china major DDR. It came back from pcgs about 2 weeks ago. Wasthe second known n top pop.
Nice finds! Much better than all the MD and DDD examples we have to endure all the time! Especially the 1969 S so called DDO's
WOW!!! That is some serious doubling! If that was on a US issued series, it would be worth quite a bit. But, I think I read on here somewhere that foreign coins don't get collected like US coins do in terms of major varieties. That one however, is spectacular. Nice finds.
I would have thought that after the 1990’s thrse major ones would almost never happen considering mint standards.
Yes definately not in the same market with errors on world coins. But i still like to get n collect major examples like this.
This coin is like the Crocodile Dundee version of "That's not a doubled die, this is a doubled die". LOL
I'm just curious. Like I said in my letter back from John indicated he does not do foreign coins. But in his opinion it is a doubled die. So I am going to interpret that that he does not list them on his site. But he is acknowledging that it is a doubled die. I'm just wondering if the grading companies will consider that an authentication.?
