Twenty Ten, and the sacs are kinda a silly coin. They tone nasty, and are not too hard to collect. I could care less about them.
One thing to think about though...the Sac might be a sleeper series down the road someday though. My understanding is outside the first and second years, the mintage is pretty low at least in the years before they began minting Presidential Dollars. So, there are a number of years in there where the mintage for business strikes is between 2million and 4million which is pretty low for a modern coin. I have also read that many have gone out of the country and are circulating in Ecuador (most are probably from the over minted 2000 year)...but who knows, this might be a valuable series someday.
Very very true. I am no going to hoard them by the roll. :smile I think 2008 penny is going to be a sleeper. Last year for the Lincoln memorial reverse, at least for the next two years. :kewl:
I wouldn't call myself a fan... was excited when they came out, but after I got a few, I don't care all that much about them anymore. I don't dislike them, just kind of indifferent at this point. To be honest I'm a bigger fan of the president dollars, a lot more variety there.
I like the reverse, plus I have met the lady who posed for the obverse. So, I am a fan. But, of course, it will never circulate until the paper $1 bill is booted.
