That's what I do but I never thought of it that way. BTW.. I took two small pieces of flat bamboo serving trays, glued them together then drilled holes into them in order to place the shank of the buttons into them so they may be held steadier.
OK, thanks guys. I kept thinking of hanging it on the wall, as I generally clutter up all horizontal surfaces.
Here are 2 more boxes.. I can look at each ring and remember when I found most of them.. Zen The emptier box had 14 rings added into it since the picture was taken
I think it cool that you keep everything I have so much stuff now that I have no room for all that stuff
Not really a ZEN box. I have some of those type trays in the secretary's desk I modified into a coin cabinet years ago. 1 drawer is set up that way. 3 levels of misc.
Thanks, I did two drawers for slabs only. All the drawers are done in crushed velvet, even the slats meant to keep the slabs from getting scratched. each drawer can hold 36 larger slabs or 45 soap box style slabs.
I have another that I am using for some Susan B's right now. These older wooden box's make it easy to keep the coins and also save space until you can search them. This one is Black Walnut
