Interesting fact about the PCI and INSB photoslabs vs. the Accugrade...

Accugrade had a patent, but on a THREE compartment holder. The others are TWO compartment. Maybe not having to pay royalties covered the extra cost of a fancy die cut label?????

I have an Accugrade 2 compartment. One holds the coin and the other a photo.

The label above the coin is a separate compartment from the photo...

Meow has just looked it up. Hmmm, it seem to have a relative of Meow on it; But it has an oddly chimp like head. Wonder how much that costs in high grade? One more thing to add to the extremely long wish list of future Cat hoard additions.

I bought the coin in this slab. Priced right, the plastic is just window dressing.

Bought the coin and slab this time. $3.65 makes it a cheap slab.

It's around $200-$250 (sometimes a bit more) for MS 63/MS 64 examples. So it's more expensive than a Texas, but still something attainable if one saves up.

Love the CNI addon to the ANACS PhotoCert - that's rich. "Just in case you don't think you can trust the ANA, we guarantee it too!"

I collect 1936 Commemorative Half Dollars in PCGS Doily slabs. Not all types are known in Doilies, but I have about 7 different ones.
I am always looking and watching.

Let's see... old ANACS (Amos Press). Despite the cert# these are AFTER the XXnnnn used during both ANA and early Amos ownership...

    ANACS-761-small.jpg

Also note (although the -75 and -761 images don't show it) the GOLD (Later) Hologram - the original ANACS/Amos was RED
