I collect anything that is pre tudor period, coins and artifacts but mainly British. I like European stuff too.

Not interested in anything else really.

I cannot stand any coin that cannot be touched.

Here are some coins of Togo to follow the coins posted by John14 & Lonegunlawyer.

My last passport has a couple pages containing Togo & Benin stamps.

Just some Canadian and 1 polish (because it has a moose on it) and I did sign up for the O Canada Subscription Series (2013)

Here are the themes and images explored in this 12-coin series that begins in January 2013:

    #1 - The Inukshuk - $39.95
    #2 - The Beaver - $39.95
    #3 - The Royal Canadian Mounted Police - $39.95
    #4 - The Polar Bear - $39.95
    #5 - Summer Life - $39.95
    #6 - The Wolf - $39.95
    #7 - Niagara Falls - $39.95
    #8 - The Caribou - $39.95
    #9 - Hockey - $39.95
    #10 - The Orca - $39.95
    #11 - The Maple Leaf (in colour) - $39.95 ($54.95 for non-subscribers)
    #12 - Holiday - $39.95

How can you not want a coin with a beaver on it?

The beaver is a very noble beast! I find myself very drawn to the Candadian coins. I feel as though their mint listens to the collectors. Unlike certain mints that will remain nameless *cough*us mint*cough*

By the way, that thing in the middle of the face value is a stylized sawfish (poisson-scie). That is also the logo of the issuing central bank, see here. It appears on pretty much every BCEAO coin and note ...

I took a new pic of Princess Di this morning, and PhotoScaped it. Trying to get the toning and details to show well is difficult.
