I'm not going to get into his politics because this is not the place for that. But, he took over the Presidency during the great depression and led us out of it. When WWII came to our shores he led us through it. </p><p><br /></p><p>My point is, these 4 men were the leaders of this country at times when we needed someone to lead it. Had they not been successful in their jobs...our country might look much worse today. I think these 4 men were chosen very wisely for our coins. If we were going to put "dead presidents" on them...these 4 seem well chosen to me.</p><p><br /></p><p>As for JFK...well, he doesn't really help my argument. But, he was among the most publicly popular presidents we ever had and he was assassinated in office. So, I guess as a tribute to his popularity...he got a coin.
