Yea, I saw that first thing. Someone has asked them if it has been cleaned and they said not by them. It has been messed with!

    the item description is "cleaned"

Many of this sellers coins are cleaned, they say so right in the listing. That accounts for them looking uniform, because they have undergone the same process. I'm guessing there is some minor photoshop involved, which would obscure the hairline scratches from polishing. Apparently many people like the doctoring, the seller has 100% positive feedback. At least the item description is honest, I'm guessing their original condition would not have sold well. Note the lack of any mint luster, they look very bright but dull at the same time. Cleaned and treated to create an artificial patina. You could never slab one of those coins.

    Update!!!

I just recieved the one coin I had the seller ship to me, 1924 D. It is not even close to the picture in the listing. In fact, I took the one I already had and held the two side by side, looked through my loop and my old one was better? The coin was not the color it showed in the listing, thank god, and the A in America on the reverse in almost gone? Can't see that in a picture.
Another question, why does seller greatsoutherncoin get so much for his coins. I think this is another camera deal. Great pics??

Yep. Greatsoutherncoin is infamous for deceptive photos. I hear that they do honor their return policy.
