    As I had fully expected, your opinions are reaffirming my assumption that this is a typical business strike. It's still really pretty and shiny, and I think I did well for the price I paid. I'm happy with it, especially considering some of you are even considering it PL (or half PL) so that makes me think it's not so bad of a specimen to fill the hole in my book.

    The coin in the OP is not a Proof. It lacks the detail and the mirrored surfaces that are required. Here is a certified Proof Morgan Dollar from the same era.
