Welcome to Coin Talk. Please be specific as to what makes you think this is an error. All I see is a worn 1936 Buffalo nickel.
The marks are called pmd damage after it left the mint, coin sorters, counter. whatever the machine, it did not leave the mint with them marks. still a collectable coin.
Everything you highlighted in Red is damage. Notice how the marks are in the same area basis the rim - The coin was probably caught/jammed in a counting machine - that's damage you see
Welcome to Coin Talk , keep on hunting for those collectable coins. I agree with the PMD (post mint damage) . Always good to get some feedback from the members here . Hope you come back !! Dillan
