    There is "no drawing board"
There is ONE, and only ONE 1982 D small date copper.

you are not going to find it because it has been found.

Those YouTube videos and clickbait websites are to blame. Stay away from them because they will make you search for things you cannot find.

The 1974 which is not as well known is subtle. The 4 is thicker in the LD.
    The others: 1960, (small/large), 1970-S, and 1982.
There are also a number of WIDE AM's and CLOSE AM's you can look for.

The first one wasn't found for 34 years, a second one hasn't been found in the past two years.

You say that with such certainty. Does that mean you have examined all 6 billion 1982 D cents personally? If you haven't how can you say for sure that there ISN'T a second one out there?

Hope is a wonderful thing, lol. Even though it's a unicorn, I'll keep looking, just in case.

Youtube is telling people that there is ONLY ONE and that there aren't any others out there? If so why are there so many people coming here claiming they have the coin youtube says doesn't exist? :)

Me too. I had to actually have one in hand and too even identify the difference. I don't just look for those if one comes my way I'll just put it on the scale. Even though it will never be found again.

Thanks so much. Just took a glance at the website! So much information I didn't know. I've probably missed a ton of pennies that I should have pulled. I have saved everything up to 1970 s coins and looking for 1974 small date. So I can go back and look for some them.
As for people thinking you don't know anything, that's nonsense. You've helped me out a lot. I was a teacher from 1979 through 2012, and have taught every grade level K through 12, and in many venues, including a juvenile correctional center. I could write a book. I love it when people say "so and so is just a teacher, so she doesn't make any money." They show their ignorance, plus I know most people could never survive what I have in my career. The teaching part is easy compared to all the nonsense you're put through that has little to do with the act of teaching. Ok, I'm done with my band wagon.
As for your spelling, I don't zero in on it, anyway. I'm looking for information from people who are in the know, like you
