Nearterm, like by the end of 2012, I do not think silver will go to $100.

No silver will not go to $100 oz. Your numbers about the amount of silver demand and the worlds yearly supply are actually very very low but the point is there. The statement that demand is higher than what is being mined is true, but is extremely mis-leading. This is just a fact that thrown around by the silver stackers but is really meaningless. The reason is the demand is being met and/or exceeded since below ground silver is not he only source of supply. Re-cycled (melted) silvers easily fills the gap. It really doesn't matter what source the the demand is being met from, just whether it is being met or not.

Now it is true we will be needing more silver from our underground supply as demand increases, but that should not be a problem. Supply has easily met demand as is evidence by the falling price of silver. In addition, there are currently old mines being re-open and brand new projects in the works that will bring and additional 90 million oz. of silver into play each year by 2015. I just am not seeing a supply problem.
