Mostly my metal detected coins bunnyfoofoo_dirtydigginnuts I just followed and sent you guys messages @jtlee321 I can't find your Instagram page
This is his page https://www.instagram.com/jlnumisphoto/ And mine, which you already found https://www.instagram.com/u1toning/
There are a lot of dealers on Instagram and a lot more collectors that also sell. There is a ton of buying and selling done on Instagram. I’ve probably completed at least 200 buy or sell deals in my 6 years there and I’m just a collector. It’s a great place for coins.
Exactly, there is always the talk of no new blood in the community, but the new blood is embracing what they have grown up with and thats social media. So I don't think the hobby will die. Just change like every generation. Even the trading card and comic book community have active selling going on.
Your collection reaches pretty far in both time and distance. Really diggin' the variety of good looking coins.
@Evan Saltis (IG: @ebs_numis) convinced me to create an IG account late last summer. At first, I was taken aback by how vibrant the numismatic community is over there. Since then, I have been able to build and foster a multitude of connections, mainly through buying and selling on occasion. My coin-related IG is the following: @middle_tennessee_numismatist
You guys are going to get me interested in world coins now. Nice stuff. Do you follow midwestcoins? His flash sales look interesting.
I do, but I haven't bought anything from him yet as his sales tend to be quite competitive as his items are typically claimed within mere seconds.
Thanks! I have several areas I collect, plus the occasional "because I like it" purchase. If only my photography would improve!
I was talked into giving it a try and gave myself the goal of one coin a day. Which I mostly meet. I'm jumping between my two core interests at the moment, Japan and Albania. It was surprising to me how much I liked it. So much so I now have a second account for my chickens and dogs. I go by StarCityHomer over there.
Bringing this thread back because Instagram is where it's at buying and selling these days. Most yn's are there and if you want to support the future of our fine hobby, Instagram is a must! Just a couple of my recent purchases there.
