I'm agreeing with Krispy here on grade and value, except I would be willing to go high grade Fine as well. It looks dirty and the vertical and other folds might bring it down. Hard to say without having it in the hands though. Any crispiness to the bill? In F+, I would drop value to about $65-$70.
Either way I was shocked when they said $50. I know I have overpaid on some bills due to impatience so it is nice to get a good deal on one.
And then there was one... I am now only short a 1981A* and I will be complete with $1 and $1* notes for SF
Finally got a $1 star in the mail today, My $1 and $1 star notes are now complete. On to the $5s! (only have 8 to go)
These are my two newest additions to my St. Louis FRN district collection... have been posted in other threads but not here yet. F-1969H $5 1969 -- Check the low SN! F-2008 $10 Series 1934C Wide PMG 64 EPQ :thumb:

Now you (Krispy) are showing a note I would be very interested in. That 1934C $10 is cherry looking to me. Do you mind if I ask what a note like that ran you? I think it is beautiful. By the way, thank you for the invitation. I will accept. Please do not think I am a big collector, I am not. I have only a few banknotes but have a very good interest in them. There are several notes with numerals I would like to get one day.
Thank you Zeplyn. That $10 Series 1934C note is priceless. To me the cost was nil. It was a most thoughtful gift from a friend to help boost and encourage my St. Louis district collection.
krispy, i am collecting philly notes, 1928-present, $1 to $20, including stars. sadly, i haven't been as active with it as i would like, but i will add to the collection in 2011.

I would like to know if there are any rules to this? Do you have to collect all denominations or can it be just $1, or $5 or 10's? Are sets ok? Like a note from each district of the same denomination?
