Here's a extraordinary example of one of the better foreign doubled dies, this one being a 2000 10 centavos from Brazil. The entire current series of Brazilian coins can be found with outstanding doubled dies, both obv and rev. If they were U.S. coins with a spread like this they'd be worth a fortune.
I've been searching for one of these and camt find one. What should i expect to pay for a nice example?
Well, I got a super deal on mine (this one), probably an MS63 or so for $40. I also have another one that is missing the brass plating. I wouldn't count on finding another for $40 tho. If I can think of a possible source for one I'll post it here.
