Doctors stated both issues of Hoarding and Kleptomania were separate issues.  She progressed through stages of dementia then progressed on through to Alzheimer's.  Tough ordeal for several years.  I was somewhat prepared having helped care for my Grandmother with Alzheimer's.  However, my Grandmother had a great childhood, so many of her episodes reflected happy times as a child.  UNFORTUNATELY, my mother-in-law was NOT a good mother, and did not have a good childhood.  Episodes were a lot more tough. So, from my experience, Kleptomania and Hoarding are two separate issues. Hey, RANDOM COIN-TIME!  After all, this IS a coin site!
