Ive never even had one of these dimes until now. I bought 4 rolls of old pennies and found these 2 dimes. Worn and all but kind of cool to find them!!! 1935 and 36

I was like a 7 year old yesterday when I broke the roll open. I could see it was a super thin silvery edge in with all the copper. I literally yelled "what the F%^&*$ udge"! My wife said whats going on and I told just said "look" and pointed. She said "thats not what you paid for, are you going to ask for a refund"? LOL!

Theyre not really worth anything special but what a cool surprise. Its was like getting that really cool toy at the bottom of the cereal box.

The Dimes are worth more than the cents. Great find! :)

I'm not sure where you got the rolls of cents from, but many times on eBay sellers will salt a roll with a 'better find' or a silver dime in order to drum up business. That said, I've found a Mercury dime in a roll along with a silver bar.

How does a bar fit in a row? And in a row of what?

Yeah, it was an unusual find. Batteries, plastic tokens, play money, metal slugs...do CRH enough you'll find the unusual. On the plus side I found a 1941 Mercury dime and a silver bar mixed in with cents, a 1914 gold Ducat in a roll of nickels. And plenty of other foreign coinage.
