Dimes full torches...

    PCGS has changed their tune on these over the years, as well.

    I feel like both major TPGs are inconsistent on the SMS coins. Over the decades, what they call them and how they designate them has varied - and they are even inconsistent with their own policies.

    This is a classic case where the collector must grade the coin for themselves, and buy the coin, not the holder.

    The OP is asking if his SMS Roosevelt would receive the FT designation if it were graded.

    Interesting. I didn't bother to check census. I just knew Ebay had them graded per NGC. I think a previous post already mentioned that PCGS didn't have any SMS graded with a full torch designation.
