That message was intended for those customers who had already placed their order and paid for the item through their website. If had not completed a purchase transaction with your CC at that time , you were out of luck , as they were completely sold out . Those customers who had paid those inflated charges , were issued refunds and only charged the prices as was established under the approved Dealer program. It was such a mess , even those approved dealer wholesalers didn't know whether they were coming or going according to the mint . The " Watch this space " notification was for future sales, if and when the Coins were made available by the mint. I see absolutely no reason to hold the Dealer , Dillion Gage in contempt , for anything else than their ridiculous first offering prices. Which IMHO was nothing short of price Gouging , but that was across the board with every mint approved Dealer. Count yourself fortunate , you did not shell out those bucks . The mint will be releasing the Collector versions and even though they too will be in short supply , prices for these will drop like shoe within a year or two in the secondary markets. The entire mess , was IMHO entirely the MINT"S to begin with. Look at the recent forum topics on the right side>>>>>>> Fidelitrade is offering the 5 coin set for under $1,000.00
