It wasn't about regular vs. occasional submitter. I am a regular submitter and have paid dues for years. It was a coin count. The submitter had to submit a large quantity of coins. I don't remember the exact number, except it was more than the ten(both dollars, half dollars and the set) I submitted. That wasn't cheap. I can accept the fact I missed the fine print. That's not the point. Customer service is the point.

The fact that some obscure print on a webpage absolves PCGS of better customer service is laughable. I guarantee if I had submitted coins without payment, PCGS would have contacted me or sent the coins back. Or if I submitted coins under a modern tier and they were 19th century coins, they would have contacted me or sent the coins back. Think of all the submissions that could be submitted in error where the submitter OWED PCGS money to complete the transaction. Guaranteed PCGS contacts those customers. Why couldn't they contact me? Because I had paid them enough money for any option that was available for that coin. Any option. I happened to like the label I had picked out for my coin, for my collection. I didn't choose the label with future financial rewards in mind. Nothing more than that is how I wanted to display my coin. Not now, thanks PCGS. Some of us are hobbyists. We actually collect coins for enjoyment.[/QUOTE]
