    ..ghost doubling? I looked on Wexlers site to try to identify this 1990 LC. Forgive the pics, I don't have access to anything better at the moment.

    Correct. All Die Deterioration. It's very common on Copper Plated Cents. You can see the exposed Zinc on the Reverse side.
