Die Cud?

    Ding Ding . Nice try though. See how the metal is pushed over the "T and S " from the rim if that makes any sense ?

    I'm afraid that's a heavy rim ding in this particular case, though cuds in that area of the exergue (that area below the buffalo where the denomination is) on Buffalo nickels are not uncommon.

    I once dug one with my metal detector (sadly dateless), on which the FI in FIVE was covered in a massive cud. Fun find, though technically still not worth much.
