I'll never understand why someone needs to join a site such as this and be abrasive. It just sucks the fun away for others. It's just not cool. Hope you get over it.

It is in my nature. Most people I meet don't like me at first but I grow on them. I think it has to do with the way I respond to things.
Like, if someone says something and cannot back it up, I come off as very opinionated. Thus...abrasive. If I try to make something simple and easy to understand, I come off as condescending...thus abrasive. If I feel I know more about a numismatic subject than another, I come off as a know-it-all. Thus...abrasive.
How much do I owe you for the therapy session doctor?

No one in my position needs to post on CT (See, an abrasive comment). Very few of my peers even know OR CARE that these blogs exist (except at NGC and Collectors Universe) or have time to join. There are more important things in life (abrasive?). I joined CT because I heard there was a big discussion about Mint Die Polish. Then I saw a bunch of BS opinions about acid treated coins, clash marks, PMD for roller marks, etc. I thought I would stay around to reinforce the good postings/comments I saw that were being trashed. Glad I joined - it's addictive! IMO, there are some members here who should be teaching seminars in CO. So much to learn about coin photography, errors, etc. Just trace up this thread to see the misquotes, fuss, and derision over a stupid double die clash :)

Thanks for taking time to comment!

It is never nice to be abrasive on purpose. However, I just did blow my cool when a poster suggested heating an Indian cent to remove what may not even be solder. Actually looks like a silver colored flake of something on the coin.

I already apologized to you once for being extremely unprofessional.
