If only Doug would consider demanding the same of new members as he does regulars. "Civility" works both ways...

Legoman thinks you’re right. Unfortunately, many members might just be accustomed to Meow’s persistent meowing. ;)

Mods can't.. Only a Clinical psychologist and a Psychiatrist can give therapy to Multiple Identity Disorder sufferers.

I wonder how Meow requests coin rolls at the bank. “Meow, meow. Meow would like some quarter rolls” is hardly the way to come across as a coin collector. Also, where he works, does his ID badge say “Meow K Cat”? I believe it’s just mild trolling whenever he pretends to be a cat.

I guess it can't be any worse than a girl I know that's 24 and still goes everywhere dressed up as a Pokémon character.

I fear this is the result of both the embrace of participation trophies as well as turning our collective backs on survival of the fittest.

Go to a Steak and Chili house on a Saturday night and see 60+ year old men dressed like "Cool Hand Luke" or Sunday to a LA Charger vs Oakland Raider game and see "Halloween" mixed with "The Exorcist".

Some do things to irritate people, some to draw attention to themselves, others are disturbed.

I believe all of that. And it's the main reason I've never been to a comic book/sci-fi convention. People my age dressed up as Darth Vader really would put me off.

tommyc03- Good point. Last time I dressed up was for Halloween some 8? or more years ago. It's pretty strange to see other people dressed up without reason. I thought people my age typically did it.
