The Weather Channel keeps testing the boundaries of what they can do to get more viewers by trying to offer programming related to weather, &#039;How Weather Changed History&quot;, &quot;Storm Stories&quot;, etc. They have turned the &#039;Weather Man&#039; or &#039;Weather Girl&#039; into a Hurricane uber-brute who can stand in the face of doom and gloom and sell you cold medicine or auto insurance.</p><p><br /></p><p>Maybe you can turn your father onto <a href="http://www.nws.noaa.gov/" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="http://www.nws.noaa.gov/" rel="nofollow">NOAA.gov</a> or a really fun one, <a href="http://www.wunderground.com/" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="http://www.wunderground.com/" rel="nofollow">Wunderground.com</a>, which has really great customizeable radar maps and live tracking over zoom-able Google Maps. Try to ween him off The Weather Channel, because it&#039;s making him sick <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie2" alt=";)" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" /> and he needs a return to the purity of raw atmospheric data!
