I guess now's not the time to also admit I've sent others here too in the past few months. As I said earlier, I try again and again to help those folks who email me with nothing but damaged coins, no message, no 'I see this', or who just cannot learn and understand what they have. I will reply to any email 3 times at a minimum - sometimes many more; however............... At some point, I have to either ignore them, or send them someplace where others can try to help. Ergo - Cointalk - error forum
And now we know: (1) fashionable rabbits are wearing pancakes; and (2) Mr. Weinberg considers a 39 year old man to be an "older gentleman." I used to consider 39 to be "old" too, but I think Ronald Regan was in office back then.
I thought one of his emails said he was something like 'late 60's', (same as me) so that's why I said 'older gentleman'. At this point, I don't think it makes a big diff.
I'm not quite sure what's going on here, but as a community maybe we should ask constructive questions rather than criticize. There may be more going on with OP than we are aware of. Maybe OP just isn't very good at reading/writing (not everyone is raised with the same privileges), maybe they are recovering from a stroke... I don't know, just throwing out a couple possibilities.. At any rate, how has this thread gone 3 pages without asking what denomination OP is asking about? OP, could you please try to explain what information you are seeking beginning with the denomination of the coin in question? If have a photo to share, that would be optimum since a photo says a thousand words.
I dunno.. haven't seen other threads. Just seems thread got very mean spirited very quickly when all that needs to be said is, "more details please" or "what you talking abouts". Either, OP complies; or, the thread disappears into the backpages. I usually 'order crazy' when I go to White Castles at 3am. I usually have a solid low-cost plan before I go: 3 whities and and a side (onion rings, cheesesticks or chicken rings usually). However after I order, I end up with 5 whities, a large chocolate milkshake and an assortment of fried foods.
The OP has not "been seen" since the moment the thread was started. If you start a thread, the least thing you can do is to...participate.
There have been other threads, or at least one other thread, that has since disappeared from the board (and, oh, what a doozie it was!), but generally speaking I do agree with you and actually kind of like the guy.
OP has posted at least 3 times. All the same unintelligible drivel. Never comes back after first post. There's no defending the guy.
The best I can do is the surface....It's in my email box from sending it....I would be forwarding it...
Mr. Weinberg has been with us for about 7 months. We are lucky to have him here as from what I see he spends most of his time on another forum. He authenticates error coins for PCGS.
